Here at XDW we are committed to putting in place the most stringent health and safety measures to ensure you're fully protected and can attend with peace of mind. We'll be following current government guidelines for Germany and asking all delegates to respect these rules, which will be enforced by our events team.

In general, a minimum distance of 1.5 meters between people is recommended in public spaces . Wherever the minimum distance cannot be maintained, as well as indoors, wearing a mouth and nose protector is recommended.The obligation to wear at least one medical mask (so-called surgical mask) exists in the following areas:

As the situation continues to improve, so does the relaxation of rules. Here are the current rules as of 6th February. We are expecting a further update on 17 March 2022 and will be making them available to you.

It is mandatory to wear a face mask (surgical mask only, material masks are not legal) to cover your nose and mouth in the following situations:

When using public transport
Indoors, when mixing with people from other households.
Outdoors, in areas where people from different households gather (e.g. shopping areas, queues, etc.)
Outdoors, if ordered by the respective authority,

In addition, it is recommended to wear a face mask in every situation in which it is not possible to maintain a minimum distance of 1.5 metres to others.
There are exemptions to the above-mentioned obligation to wear a face mask, such as in restaurants (where seating is fixed), when communicating with a person with hearing disability, etc.

It is mandatory to keep a minimum social distance of 1.5 metres.

Tests must be carried out upon event entry. You will need to provide a proof of vaccination (at least 2 doses - 2G) to be able to attend the event. Covid pass are the best way to do this.
