The Meta Shift

In the second part of the programme, it's time to create space to move ideas into prototypes. Guided by a team of intriguing experts from the world of gaming, XR, engineering, design and of course tourism, sessions are designed to inspire new ideas, explore opportunities and create rapid prototypes around conceptual digitally immersive visitor experiences.

We're proud to have teamed up with Design Offices, an innovative local partner who are radically rethinking the way we work. What better setting for XDW than a total reframing of work and play. With this aligned vision, we'll be breaking with tradition and creating an incredible collaborative space to connect, find inspiration, discuss and explore ideas - not forgetting a little time for co-working.

XDW Central

At the core of XDW is XDW Central. An agile and fluid space which will become the central hub of ideas throughout the week. This multifunctional space will become the main stage of talks and keynotes, but also a fluid space for quick stand-up idea sprints and team huddles. Grab a seat, perch on a bench, stand and think or walk and talk, central is designed to keep your creativity alive.

XDW Lounge

This is where ideas meet productivity. Step aside from the main sessions, talks and conversations and plug-in to thrash out your ideas. A functional co-working space, uniquely setup and designed for XDW to help you foster ideas in huddles, get down to rapid brainstorms, or step-out for essential calls, e-mails or a little remote working.

On the fringes of XDW you'll find lots of creative spaces to meet and work in small teams or join fascinating workshops led by partners. Throughout the week there will be lots going on and you'll be sure to keep finding inspiration in the range of spaces we put at your disposal.
